Dear Letterwinner,

This is truly a great time to be a Mustang! With the continued enhancement of our facilities, including the groundbreaking on the upcoming Aquatics Center, and the conference championships claimed by Men's Soccer and Volleyball, we have many reasons to be proud to call SMU our own. We have another outstanding season to look forward to for so many of our teams, and we truly appreciate your support in all of our 424 student-athletes.

As a former athlete at SMU, you’re a part of an elite group of former students who have had the privilege of wearing the Mustang logo on the field of play. Because of your commitment and accomplishments within your sport, you’ve earned the right to be a “member” of the SMU Lettermen’s Association. However, to take full advantage of all that membership has to offer, you must activate your membership each year. Now is the time to activate your membership for 2016.

We sincerely hope that you’ll continue to support our Association and take advantage of the opportunities that Lettermen’s provides to reconnect with your former teammates and this elite group of men and women. During your time as a Mustang Student Athlete, you developed meaningful relationships with teammates and coaches. As an active member of the Lettermen’s Association, you can recapture those proud moments of your past and further develop those relationships when you return to campus for a reunion or special event.

I’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to join the Lettermen’s Association and stay connected to our great University as we continue to make huge strides on the field and around our campus. As a member of the Lettermen’s Association, you will be an important link in connecting Mustang athletes from the past, present, and future.

Please take note of recent changes to our Lettermen’s membership levels: Regular Membership is $75 per year, the Auto Renewal Membership is $65 per year, 5-Year Membership is $375, and the Lifetime Membership is $1,500. In addition, dues for Recent Graduates are $35 per year (until the age of 35). These dues allow the Board of Directors to have the necessary capital to continue to provide great events, benefits, and communications to our Members.
